Grandpa Rufus brings a seasoned voice to blues, Americana, and folk — music with room for a little heartache, a little humor, and the simple pleasure of a song shared.
In 2024, he toured the UK with Mr Barry Spears. After returning home, he was diagnosed with throat cancer that almost took his voice.
Through 2025 and 2026, Rufus has been rebuilding his voice, finding his way back to the songs he loves.
Now, he's looking toward 2027 with the hope of getting back out there and playing his music again. There's still more to sing.
